Job Description: Full-time Case Manager provides direct services to mostly immigrant (Latina and Chinese) families who suffer from domestic and / or family violence (either physical, emotional, and/or financial) and other life crises, and works to enhance housing, family, and economic stability to prepare survivors to make plans to ensure their and/or their family’s safety. The program’s direct services include supportive counseling, advocacy, assistance with concrete needs, long-term planning, crisis intervention, and planning and leading groups. Planning, program development, and community outreach are a large part of the work that the Case Manager assists with.

Program Description: Project Home is a blended program that combines the following services: homelessness prevention for families and individuals at-risk of eviction; general short-term social services; leadership development and advocacy groups; and services to address senior isolation and mental health needs. We are part of University Settlement, a community-based, multi-service agency that has served the Lower East Side community since 1886.
